The Oxford Dictionary defines the word crucial as an adjective indicating that which is, “Decisive or critical, especially in the success or failure of something,” or as something that is simply “of great importance”.

Crucial Moments.  Some are obvious.  The vows at an altar, the birth of a child, or even the death of a loved one.  Many are not.  In fact, what may be a crucial moment for one may not be but a passing one for another.  The hearing of an old familiar song, the receiving of a compliment, or even the smell of a “poopy” diaper.  On one level, they are but everyday experiences that make up our everyday lives.  On another, they are that which become critical to the trajectory and shaping of who we are and where we go.

As a husband to the love of my life, a father to two beautiful children, and a follower to the most wise and loving friend, my hope is that this page may help you in your journey towards a deeper faith, a more vibrant family life, and a greater leadership reach as I share and reflect upon moments which have become decisive to who I am and where I am going.
